Montefiore IT is actively recruiting talented professionals for our Infor ERP Technology team. Following our recent implementation of Infor FSM, we are building a dedicated team to provide comprehensive support throughout the lifecycle of this essential module.

The Infor ERP Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs for end-users of the Infor ERP system. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify training needs, create customized training materials, and conduct training sessions to ensure that users are proficient in using the system to perform their roles effectively.

This position is key to ensuring that employees are fully equipped to leverage the Infor ERP solution for their day-to-day tasks, thereby increasing productivity and ensuring smooth system adoption. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infor ERP, a solid understanding of business processes, and the ability to deliver training in a clear, engaging, and practical way.

Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to identify user training needs based on roles, processes, and ERP functionality.
  • Conduct assessments to understand user proficiency and gaps in knowledge.
  • Analyze feedback from previous training sessions to continuously improve and update training content.


  • Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials, including user guides, quick reference guides, video tutorials, and e-learning modules.
  • Create role-based training content that addresses specific business processes, ensuring that content is practical and relevant.
  • Develop custom training materials for different ERP modules (e.g., Financials, Supply Chain, HR, etc.).
  • Keep training content up to date with system updates, new functionality, and best practices.


  • Deliver engaging, interactive, and effective training sessions to end-users, both in-person and virtually.
  • Conduct one-on-one or group training for new hires, as well as ongoing training for existing employees.
  • Lead "train-the-trainer" sessions for internal super users to expand knowledge within departments.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance during system go-lives and updates to ensure smooth transitions.


  • Offer post-training support through help desks, one-on-one coaching, and follow-up sessions to ensure proper understanding and effective system usage.
  • Create surveys and other feedback mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Track and report on training outcomes and adjust the training plan based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Ensure that users are adopting best practices and utilizing the system to its full potential.


  • Collaborate with business process owners, IT, and functional teams to ensure that training aligns with organizational goals and user needs.
  • Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and materials used.
  • Document frequently asked questions (FAQs), troubleshooting tips, and other helpful resources for users.


  • Stay current on the latest updates, features, and best practices related to Infor ERP and its modules.
  • Continuously improve training methodologies to enhance learner engagement and retention.
  • Participate in training-related communities of practice to share knowledge and gain insights into emerging trends and techniques.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Education or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering ERP training programs, preferably for Infor ERP.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how they relate to ERP functionalities (finance, supply chain, manufacturing, HR, etc.).
  • Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design is highly desirable.


  • In-depth knowledge of Infor ERP modules and functionality.
  • Proficient in using Infor tools for training (e.g., Infor ION, Infor CloudSuite, Infor Birst for reporting, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams).


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple way.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with a passion for training and helping others succeed.
  • Ability to engage a diverse audience, adapting training methods to meet different learning styles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple training projects.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across various departments and levels within the organization.



Desired:



  • Infor ERP certifications (e.g., Infor CloudSuite).
  • Certification in instructional design or adult education (e.g., CPLP, ATD, or similar).
  • Experience in delivering virtual and remote training programs.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and techniques.
