What you'll do: As the newest Optometrist, your typical day will be dynamic and rewarding as you increase access to care by seeing an average of 22 to 24 patients, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and exceptional eye care. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you'll have the opportunity to recommend great eyewear options to patients, helping them find the perfect fit for their unique needs and style preferences. In addition to providing excellent patient care, you'll actively contribute to practice growth goals, working towards expanding our reach and impact within the community. The anticipated schedule for this position is six to eight hours per day for a total of 20 to 24 hours a week. The practice leverages the latest technology in the field of optometry, including Optos, Autorefractor, Tonometer, Automatic lensometer, and Visual Field, allowing you to provide cutting-edge care and stay at the forefront of advancements.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
