JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Mont Alto is searching for an adjunct faculty for Forest Surveying (FORT 140) course in the Spring 2025. Students in this course will learn and practice surveying measurements in the field, which include distance, directions, slopes, and traverses. The instructor should be proficient with the analysis and calculations with calculators, basic software, and GIS. The students DO not intend to become professional surveyors, although some might, but will be foresters who use surveying in their work. The course consists of about half indoor time (lecture, analysis practice, and field work analysis) and half field labs. Requirements and Qualifications
