Position Summary

As an Aircraft Production Supervisor, you will report to the Director of Operations and Maintenance, overseeing all activities of your assigned work crew. Your role will ensure effective and economical management of resources, adhering to customer maintenance programs, FAA regulations, and administrative requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance and documentation are compliant, managing time cards and PTO requests, and maintaining the training and qualification list for your program.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and documentation compliance.
  • Manage employee schedules, time cards, and PTO requests.
  • Ensure all tooling is properly managed and accounted for.
  • Coordinate with backshops for machining, welding, composite, and painting.
  • Maintain program's training and qualification list.
  • Communicate needs with support departments to maintain aircraft flow.
  • Supervise uncertified mechanics per program requirements.
  • Maintain daily turnover reports for each shift.
  • Ensure cleanliness of hangar, aircraft, and shop areas.
  • Attend aircraft status and program-specific meetings.
  • Coordinate with production control on aircraft maintenance flow plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate work in progress, task cards, and labor reports.
  • Ensure task cards and materials are staged and ready for work.
  • Conduct supervisor and quality audits on completed task cards.
  • Manage materials and tooling ordering and staging.
  • Oversee manpower requirements and attendance.

Qualifications

  • Previous aircraft lead structures experience is required.
  • Preferred experience on CRJ aircraft.
  • A&P certifications are required.
  • Pay scale determined by years of experience.
  • Comparable military experience is acceptable.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
