Postdoctoral Associate Med-Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - ( 21008700 ) POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE In Pain and Reward Circuit Research A Postdoctoral Associate position is available immediately in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Qualified candidates with Ph.D. in neuroscience, neurobiology, or related fields will join a dynamic team of investigators to study neural circuits that control pain, analgesia, and drug-seeking behaviors. Knowledge and prior working experiences in excitatory and inhibitory receptors, in vivo animal experiments (including simple surgical preparations), animal behavior evaluations, and/or immunohistochemistry are preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong aptitude for collaborative research in an academic environment are expected. The research environment is outstanding, and salary and fringe benefits are competitive.
