Overview The Histotechnician Sr. is responsible for accurately and timely accessioning and tracking, processing, and testing all types of surgical, cytological and autopsy tissues and fluids. Additional duties include completing tasks, preventive maintenance, quality control and providing customer service.

Responsibilities
Demonstrates the histotechnological, general laboratory and computer skills required in the anatomical pathology laboratory; may include microtomy skills, routine special and histochemical stains, continuing education of self and peers, and quality control and assisting in the advancement of new technology.
Qualifications Education Requirement: Registered HT (ASCP) or Associate's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, preferred. Certifications: Registered HT (ASCP) preferred. Skills:
