UMSL Geospatial, VC Academic Affairs, St. Louis Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geospatial Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent research and assisting with ongoing geospatial research projects at UMSL Geospatail Collaborative. This position is a full-time, temporary appointment for one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year, contingent upon available funding. Responsibilities:

Qualifications
* Ph.D. in Geospatial Science/Engineering, Computer Science, Geomatics, or a closely related field, with a strong focus on geospatial science and technology, earned within the past five years. * In-depth knowledge of remote sensing, GIS, and spatial statistics. * Expertise in geospatial data, including geospatial analysis and modeling techniques. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and/or MATLAB. * Advanced proficiency in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. * Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others. * Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Evidence of research productivity through peer-reviewed journal publications or conference proceedings. Application Materials
