Reimbursement Supervisor - SNF, HMO Billing

The Reimbursement Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight to a team of reimbursement resources. The scope of this job includes organizing team tasks and schedules, as well as timely completion of the month-end process for assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients to meet end-of-month closing deadlines, ensure all reports and reconciliations are complete, and verify all outstanding visits have been locked.

  • Oversee all job-related training for local and offshore resources and ensure practices are compliant with payer requirements and regulatory guidelines by staying informed about industry changes.

  • Manage a large team of reimbursement resources with highly complex payer by providing guidance, support, and performance feedback, as well as approving or denying time-off requests based on business coverage needs.

  • Analyze reports such as denial and transaction reports and prepare and complete month-end process on or before assigned deadlines.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex reimbursement issues and facilitate resolution with clients, payers, and internal teams.

  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience

  • At least 0-1 years of relevant management work experience

Job Expectations

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed

  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information

  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
