EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Advanced PhD candidate (3rd year or above) in Physics, Physical Chemistry, Optical and Chemical Sensing, or a related field.

  • Develop theoretical frameworks for modeling complex spectral phenomena
  • Apply principles from spectroscopy to approximate full spectral signatures
  • Explore the integration of physics-based models with data-driven approaches
  • Contribute to research that could have a significant impact on real-world applications
  • Gain hands-on experience in blending theoretical research with practical solutions


  • A solid theoretical foundation in molecular spectroscopy, with an emphasis on UV-Vis and vibrational techniques
  • Proficiency in computational modeling of spectral phenomena; familiarity with tools like Gaussian and GROMACS is preferred.
  • Familiarity with chemical sensing principles and their applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts is a plus
