Western Door Federal is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst (Reporting and Analytics - SharePoint Developer) to support our government client in San Antonio, TX on the Direct Care Financial Management Division (DCFM) Financial Analysis, Accounting, and Program Management (AAPM) Support project. Work is expected to be on-site in San Antonio, TX with the potential for hybrid or remote.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Reporting and Analytics SharePoint Developer will support the development and maintenance of SharePoint solutions. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing PowerApps, workflows and custom solutions that enhance business processes. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of SharePoint environments, configuration, and customization to meet organizational needs while ensuring alignment with security and privacy policies.



  • Operate in a support capacity with the division accounting personnel to assist in the database development and maintenance to expand reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data visualization products that enable decision making.
  • Develop, maintain, and support SharePoint sites, libraries, and lists.
  • Develop custom web parts, applications, and solutions using SharePoint technologies (SharePoint Framework, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Develop custom business applications and automate workflows using PowerApps, Power Automate, and Tableau/Power BI to streamline and enhance business processes.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerApps applications, automated workflows, and data visualization tools to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Ensure that SharePoint design and features align with organizational security, information architecture, and usability best practices.
  • Provide support for SharePoint administration, including permissions management and site configuration.
  • Maintain system documentation and develop user guides, as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Basic Qualifications:



  • Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Hands-on experience in business process automation and workflow development using Power Automate.
  • Extensive experience working with SharePoint 2013, 2016, or SharePoint Online.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, PowerApps, workflows, and customization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, and HTML/CSS.
  • Experience in troubleshooting SharePoint issues and providing ongoing technical support.
  • Experience with analytics, financial reporting, and data visualization.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.



Desired Skills:



  • Experience working with SharePoint Online (SPO) and integrating solutions within the M365 ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Experience designing and developing Tableau/Power BI dashboards and reports to provide business insights.
  • Security + Certification
  • Microsoft Power Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
  • Microsoft Power Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Tableau Desktop and Server certification plus 1-2 years data visualization experience with a focus on Tableau.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of Military Health System (MHS) policy and regulations.
