Role Overview: As a Lead Collections Representative at Suffolk Credit Union, your primary responsibility is to oversee the collections process, including supervisory oversight of other Collections Representatives. This role involves managing delinquent accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. You will also process collections notices, assist members with collection-related concerns, and provide guidance on repayment options, all while fostering positive member relationships. Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to balance the credit union's financial objectives with exceptional service to our members and effective team leadership. Key Responsibilities:
Essential Qualifications: Qualified candidates will a high school diploma or equivalency certification. One (1) to two (2) of collections experience required, preferably in a financial institution.
