ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and collect overdue payments from customers while maintaining positive relationships and promoting timely account resolution. The Collections Associate will be tasked with ensuring that the company's outstanding invoices are paid in full, accurately tracking payment progress, and communicating with clients to resolve payment issues.

- Interact professionally and timely with clients via email and phone
- Perform functions of the role within IMA office 80-100% of the time
Customer Account Management:
- Monitor and manage accounts with outstanding balances.
- Review and track overdue invoices, ensuring that payment due dates are met.
- Reach out to customers via phone, email, or letters to follow up on unpaid bills and facilitate payment arrangements.
Data Entry & Record Keeping:
- Accurately update customer records in the company's database or ERP system.
- Maintain detailed notes of all communications, payment plans, and follow-up actions.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on collection activity, aging accounts, and payment statuses for management review.
- Analyze accounts receivable data to identify patterns and suggest improvements to the collections process.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and concerns in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Act as the point of contact for clients regarding payment inquiries or account issues.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all collections activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for all collections activities and communications.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the finance, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless account management and payment resolution.
- Escalate unresolved accounts to management or legal teams as necessary.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSinclude but are not limited to:
- 0-2 number of years of similar or related experience
- Experience with MS Office products preferred/required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Power BI and Excel)
- Bachelor's Degree required
