Senior Software Engineer

Risepoint LLC in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Software Engineer to develop and optimize computer software that administers higher education e-learning programs, utilizing web application server stack services and technologies in Salesforce. The Senior Software Engineer's job duties will include:

* Develop and optimize computer software that administers higher education e-learning programs, utilizing web application server stack services and technologies in Salesforce.

* Create technical designs for new product functionality and develop product capabilities.

* Design software solutions to optimize SQL (PostgreSQL), database access, integrity, and consistency.

* Architect server-side services and libraries.

* Maintain the full server stack, streaming functionality, and profiling tools.

* Utilize object-oriented language to compile JavaScript.

* Collaborate with other software engineers and developers to facilitate cross-functionality between different software libraries.

* Review and incorporate feedback from team to implement process changes to improve efficiency and increase productivity.

* Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support.

* Analyze and mitigate issues identified during testing.

* May telecommute from anywhere in the United States.

* Travel to Dallas, Texas office as needed, less than 5% of the time.

Minimum Requirements:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent

* Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
