This position may offer you the opportunity to try the job out, see if you would like to work with us and we may offer you a full-time position. The temporary candidate will work a maximum of 780 hours annually with flexible scheduling. Position Summary: A Custodian 1 responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: general cleaning duties, trash removal, disinfecting surfaces, restroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and damp mopping hard surface floors, carpet cleaning, unit/bed making, floor finishing, wall & ceiling washing, furniture moves and room setups. Also considered in the hiring process is the ability to use various types of custodial equipment in performance of duties. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with others and to follow oral and written instructions.
