Genesis10 is currently seeking a Alteryx Data Automation Specialist with our client in the financial industry located in Concord, CA, Charlotte, NC, Des Moines, IA, Minneapolis, MN, Dallas, TX, and Irving, TX. This is a 6+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Lead the conversion of sales and use tax data files from SAS and Excel to Alteryx, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely data processing for tax reporting Design, configure, and optimize Alteryx workflows to automate data importation, reducing the risk of errors and ensuring smooth tax compliance Identify opportunities for automation within the tax reporting process, addressing manual tasks and enhancing process efficiency Collaborate with team members and stakeholders from various LOBs to align on requirements and ensure the successful implementation of data workflows Consult and participate in complex initiatives within the Technology Business Services Consulting team, contributing to large-scale projects and strategic planning Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the Alteryx configuration to mitigate compliance risks and avoid late filing penalties Requirements: 4+ years of experience in Information Technology supporting Business Services, or equivalent experience through work, training, military, or education 2+ years of experience as an Alteryx SME, with strong skills in configuring Alteryx for data conversion and automation purposes Proficient in working with multiple input files, including data from various LOBs with unique state filing requirements Strong understanding of Excel and SAS, with expertise in Alteryx as the primary tool for data automation Familiarity with tax reporting software (e.g., Vertex Returns) is a plus Demonstrated ability to consult on complex challenges, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and meet compliance standards Pay Range: $52-$62 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
