Job Summary

The Sr. Director of Business Transformation will work as a program leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategic program and project management excellence across the enterprise. This role will service as a key liaison between business units, the Office of Transformation, and the Strategic Program Office (SPO), managing the flow of deliverables, action items, and follow-ups to drive operational efficiency and cost savings. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset and be able to identify areas for development while ensuring timely execution of project goals.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning and execution of special projects across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with SPO objectives and strategic goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and the SPO for follow-ups, action items, and deliverables.
  • Attend meetings and take detailed notes, identifying key follow-ups and assigning action items to relevant stakeholders.
  • Determine when specific initiatives or issues require further development and drive these back to the SPO to ensure all items are addressed appropriately.
  • Monitor project timelines to ensure timely delivery of key milestones and goals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Report regularly on project process, identifying risks, potential delays, and corrective actions to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in project portfolio management, with a track record of successful project prioritization and benefit realization
  • Strategic contextual thinker
  • Financial and data analysis experience with solid track record building ROI models and tracking business case attainment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills on high impact projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resiliency to adapt to a competitive environment
  • Self-starter / self-directed
  • Strong critical problem solving
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task with competing priorities
  • Financial analysis certification (i.e Chartered Financial Analyst) is a plus
  • Professional certification in portfolio management is a plus
  • Previous experience in telecommunications/broadband industry is a plus

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $161,186.00-$230,265.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
