Responsibilities

Holly D. Shull & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance Companies, is seeking a Legal Administrative Support team member with civil defense litigation experience to join our San Antonio TX office. Qualified candidates will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to Attorneys, Paralegals, Legal Secretaries, and leadership. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to coordinating and scheduling depositions for Attorneys and Staff, which entails calendaring, diligent follow up with all parties to be deposed, coordinating Court Reporters, retaining Interpreters if necessary, and correspondence confirming depositions with clients, Claims Representatives, and all parties being deposed. We are seeking detail-oriented individuals with strong communication and customer service skills to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:15 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. This position is classified as a hybrid role, meaning that the work arrangement calls for hours in the office and virtually. Everyone in a hybrid role is required to spend some time in the office. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs.

Located in San Antonio, TX, we enjoy an active and busy civil trial practice. We provide a congenial, team-oriented professional work environment with skilled support staff.



Qualifications

  • Recent civil defense litigation experience, preferably in an Insurance Defense environment
  • Familiarity with rules and procedures of District Clerks and knowledge of service and filing requirements is necessary
  • Experience with E-filing with the Texas Court system
  • Proficiency in software technology, tools, and case management system
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual skills are preferred but not required
