You'll conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and deliver interventions that meet each patient's unique needs. With a focus on patient and family education, you'll foster a collaborative environment to promote self-care and independence. You'll also ensure clear and effective communication within the care team, document patient progress accurately, and prioritize safety at all times. As a leader on the unit, you'll engage in evidence-based practice, take on charge nurse responsibilities as needed, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Your compassion, adaptability, and clinical expertise will be vital in helping our patients reach their rehabilitation goals. ADN graduate with less than 5 years of acute care experience required to sign agreement to complete BSN or MSN within 3 years of hire. Note: Employees hired as an ADN prior to October 2011 are not required to obtain BSN or MSN.BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.Current unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon.Minimum of one (1) year of RN Staff Nurse experience required, acute care RN Staff Nurse experience preferred.Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training - Within 6 months of hire.Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is an equal opportunity employer.
