Inova Fair Oaks hospital is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our fabulous, close knit team. This role is PRN two weekend shifts a month, 1 major, 1 minor holiday required \| additional shifts available if desired \| Must be able to train during the week, Monday thru Friday. Inova Fair Oaks Rehabilitation Services offered: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cancer rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, SAEBO therapy, Bioness therapy (H200 and L300), video swallow studies, vestibular and balance rehabilitation, concussion rehabilitation, pre/post mastectomy rehabilitation, LSVT BIG and LOUD services, and vision rehabilitation Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities: Documents the results of evaluations clearly and completely by including all essential elements according to department policy. Completes daily progress notes that reflect patients' responses to treatment, actual performance, and an assessment as to status relevant to the treatment plan in addition to eventual discharge needs and treatment summaries if needed. Completes discharge notes that include a summary of the course of treatment, progress toward goals, discharge needs, recommendations for follow-up and patient and/or family education. Documents clearly, concisely and legibly within established timeframes (e.g. allows other therapists to continue treatment, allows for interpretation by payers, supports reimbursements). Documents evidence of patient and family/caregiver education. Contacts families, physicians or other healthcare team members in anticipation of special needs of the patients or families in a timely manner to facilitate effective treatment plans. Physical Therapist Additional Requirements: Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start- Must be from AHA Licensure - Physical Therapist Upon Start Experience - Not required but preferred for PRN Education - Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy- Master's Preferred
