Senior Operations Analyst

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Senior Operations Analyst to support the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO). This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Supports the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) with an Aerial Target portfolio of products to include the Aerial Target Flight Services (ATFS), the Air Defense Artillery Targets (ADA-T), and the Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) teams.
• Responsible for leading a small team of personnel that will provide direct support to the Aerial Target Product Directors in support of various types of aerial target flight operations requirements at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Responsible for assisting the Government in all functions of logistics, planning, coordination, transportation, documentation, and onsite support for aerial target flight operations.
• Duties include obtaining target requirements from specified DoD entities, including FMS customers needing Aerial Threat & Target Support, and conducting site visits to determine the feasibility of equipment and target launch/recovery locations.
• Will coordinate high-speed Aerial Target support, range & airspace time, operational test support, and live fire training exercises.

Additional duties may include:

• Draft/submit/present post-mission reports and final After Action Reports.
• Support the development of mission cost estimates, travel cost projections, mission procurement requirements, and various contract/acquisition actions.
• Deliver various levels of briefings and lead collaboration with other interested entities regarding program/project capabilities and status.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of military/operations experience.
• SECRET security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 35% to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• On-site presence with customers at Redstone Arsenal is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with threat systems and/or threat operations.
• TOP SECRET security clearance.
• Experience supporting DoD system-level testing and operations at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Experience with supporting DoD acquisition programs and processes.
