Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hub Machine Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment located at our hubs, including parts cleaners and other essential equipment. This position is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, contributing to our commitment to excellence and efficiency.

Essential Duties:

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs on various hub machinery, including parts cleaners and other operational equipment
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
  • Replace or repair faulty components, including motors, pumps, and control systems, using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic problems in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts replaced and hours worked.
  • Prepare reports on equipment performance, repair tracking and maintenance needs for management review
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing repairs and maintenance
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, promoting safety and efficiency
  • Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate repairs and minimize downtime
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding equipment status and repair needs

Position Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Proven experience in machine repair and maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Work Experience

  • 2+ years of experience or relevant operations experience preferred

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Designations or Memberships

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machinery repair is preferred
  • All applicants must pass the following pre-employment requirements:
    • Physical including drug & alcohol screening
    • Background check in accordance with local laws and regulations

Work Environment: While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works indoors, and may be required to sit for long periods. Individual will be required to regularly talk, hear, see and often reach with hands, stand, walk, use a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
