Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma/GED. Six (6) months of experience in the maintenance and repair of utilities, stormwater, or transportation infrastructure. Licenses or Certifications Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida CDL B driver's license within ninety (90) days of hire or promotion. Must obtain and maintain Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic/Temporary Traffic Control certification from an approved trainer within six (6) months of hire or promotion. *Key Responsibilities:* Performs semi-skilled manual and limited technical work for installation and maintenance of City water, sewer, and irrigation infrastructure, stormwater infrastructure, and/or transportation infrastructure. Ensures the proper stocking and functioning of equipment and supplies in assigned city vehicle(s) and prepares work sites per daily work orders. Performs essential functions as part of a crew comprised of equipment operators and laborers but may perform certain independent tasks at the discretion of the supervisor. Performs maintenance and repair on municipal property, i.e., installation and repair of water/wastewater and irrigation lines, replacement of damaged valves and hydrants and installation of new structures.
