Overview 0.9 FTE, 36 hr./wk. Days, 7a- 7p. Every other weekend & rotating holiday requirement Non-Exempt. Benefits Eligible Minimum hourly rate: $19.00. Pay to commensurate with experience The Unit Coordinator is responsible for performing secretarial and environmental activities using current technology under the direction and supervision of RN. Assists with admission, greeting, registration, transfer, and discharge of patients. Assist with transporting patients as directed for all discharges. Why Nationwide Children's Hospital? Responsibilities
Prepares and maintains the patients' medical records.
Qualifications Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of an approved unit coordinator/clerk course or demonstration of equivalent competence. Certifications: Current CPR (BLS-Health Care Provider required). Skills: Computer skills required. Ability to navigate most current technology systems. Excellent customer service, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience: Previous health care experience preferred.
