Overview:

Maintain and oversee our proprietary inventory management system. Our signature KANBAN system enables us to accurately and efficiently stock our products at customer facilities. The Traveling Warehouse Driver would be responsible for the maintenance of existing accounts and setup of new and additional locations for our customers, as well as communicating needs and directives between management, customers, and our sales team. Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to maintain DOT physical card throughout employment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm - hours could flex depending on delivery route.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:



  • Help to maintain existing VMI customer locations
  • Setup of new VMI customer locations and additional locations for existing customers
  • Cultivate and grow relationships with existing customers
  • Effectively communicate needs and directives between management, customers, and our sales team
  • Work with our VMI platform to create and process sales orders, monitor backorders and items shipping from other locations
  • Collect data on weekly, monthly, and annual customer product usage, market behavior, and other factors to process, design, and present data in ways that can help our customers and our company make better decisions
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:



  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in driving or customer management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both verbal and written communications with all departments within an organization.
  • Possess a high degree of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as graphs, statistics, percentages, and ratios.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and think strategically.
  • Believes in and adheres to the concept of continuous improvement.
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Be able to drive safely in all weather conditions (2 years preferred).
  • Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Be able to maintain a valid DOT physical card throughout employment.


Fixed Pay Rate: $21.50/hr

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
