Job Summary: Performs deliveries and pick-ups of company purchases and items in need of repair. Maintains purchasing office during the absence of the manager. Applicants must be 21 years of age. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits. Base hourly pay range: $17.00 - $24.28 per hour Essential Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following; other duties may be assigned: Valid drivers license and clean driving record Able to work independently and stay on task. Drives a pick up truck to transport materials, supplies, and parts to and from the Olympic Valley \| Alpine Meadows and other areas including Reno, Carson City, Sacramento, and San Francisco. Delivers parcels within the Palisades & Alpine resorts. Loads and unloads trucks, store supplies Verify loads against shipping papers, and delivers receipts to Purchasing receiver. Performs emergency roadside repairs Keeps truck and purchasing area neat and clean. Competencies and Job Requirements: Required: Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Effective communication skills, oral & written. Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness. Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time. Able to work with minimum supervision and stay on task. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing 80% or more of a normal 8 hour work shift. Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50lbs. Must capable of occasionally squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and balancing, able to climb ladders and shovel snow. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions: Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee will frequently be exposed to extreme cold, wetness and/or humidity, and occasionally blizzards and extreme storm conditions. Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the work place is usually moderate. Equipment Used in Job: Describe equipment used in job.
