Job Description
ECU Department of Chemistry is seeking a Lab Assistant for the set-up and preparation of materials used in Chem 1151 and Chem 1161 teaching labs. Lab assistants are responsible for setting-up, maintaining and cleaning the teaching laboratories, and also for the preparation of reagents. Successful candidates must be able to follow safety rules and protocols, work independently, be detail-oriented, responsible, and have availability during the day on Monday and/or Friday in at least two-hour blocks.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Students should have successfully completed 1151 and 1161.
Chemistry/Biochemistry majors are especially encouraged to apply.
