As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Gates is seeking a Data Analyst, ESG (Environmental, Social, & Governance) to join our Legal team based in beautiful Denver, Colorado, at our Global Headquarters.

  • The right candidate will possess project management experience and communication skills, a strong interest in corporate sustainability and reporting disclosure frameworks, and strong data management skills.
  • This new role reports to the Director, Global Sustainability and will be responsible for supporting Gates Corporate sustainability reporting and strategy through the development of accurate, repeatable, traceable, and comparable data related to our sustainability program.
  • This position will engage cross-functionally and collaborate with members of Finance, HR and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • This role will support the execution of sustainability reporting, develop an ongoing approach to data and metrics that support Gates material ESG topic areas and evolve the approach to aligning with business and stakeholder needs.
  • Leading the approach to data gap filling, forecasting, modeling, etc.
  • Monthly data "close" process.
  • Building out tools to support new types of data collection to advance understanding/ROI analysis and provide decision-actionable information as requested.
  • Managing 3rd party assurance for ESG reporting.
  • Supporting the creation of internal content to increase collaboration and participation in support of Gates' global Sustainability initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or post-graduate degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience with data management.
  • Familiarity with ESG data collection, management, dashboarding, traceability and comparability across a range of internationally accepted reporting frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in KPI measurement and tracking.
  • Demonstrated success in creating dashboards and other tools to communicate data with internal and external stakeholder audiences.
  • Experience in creating successful partnerships with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success with cohesive analysis and assessment of impact using both key quantitative and qualitative data points.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, with a can-do attitude; ability to educate/promote understanding, generate results in an emerging capability with limited resources.
  • Excited to work in the office with great teammates.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

PAY & BENEFITS

  • Full-Time: $80,000 - $94,000
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
  • Tuition Reimbursement
