Description MaineHealth Orthopedic Sports Surgery, South Portland, is recruiting a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC)to join our fast-paced Orthopedic Sports Medicine & Surgery team.Under physician supervision, the successful candidate will provide medical care through office-based evaluation and treatment ofoutpatients as well as orthopedic surgical support. In the outpatient practice setting, this positionwill support our Orthopedic Surgeon and work cohesively amongst the existing surgical team. Orthopedic experience, joint replacement and surgical experience in Orthopedics preferred. These duties are performed in accordance with established standards and practices as defined by Maine Medical Center, the State of Maine, and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Schedule: Primary responsibility Monday - Friday clinic hours, in the outpatient ambulatory clinic and Operating Room. Operating room assist with primary supervising physician. Participates in office call coverage as part of a shared rotation for Sports Surgery. Minimum Qualifications:
