Great Hill Solutions is seeking a full-time Data Analysis and Knowledge Management Technician (RDK) at the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS) in Newport, RI is remote. The RDK is responsible for collecting, storing, analyzing, maintaining, and safeguarding all data and information used and created by DIILS. The RDK is also responsible for developing and maintaining the data management systems, programs, and applications necessary to accomplish each of these functions.

This is a part-time position (30 hours per week)

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Collecting, storing, analyzing, maintaining, and safeguarding all data and information used and created by DIILS.
  • Developing and maintaining the data management systems, programs, and applications necessary to accomplish each of these functions.
  • Technician will coordinate with, and provide information required by, DIILS International Engagements (Operations) leadership, Rule of Law Training Manager and/or other DIILS Rule of Law and ICB staff, the DIILS Reporting and Transparency Officer, the DIILS Education Center staff and/or other DIILS staff as required maintaining, updating, and developing the information management systems utilized by DIILS personnel.
  • Ensure completion of tasks involving the collection, organizing organization and analysis of all data generated by activities from within DIILS.
  • Coordinate with all DIILS offices and staff to ensure timely collection of all data pertinent to past, on-going, and planned DIILS activities.
  • Collate and compile data into DIILS, DSCU and DSCA reports; update DIILS content from information received from other DIILS staff and make information ready in a useable format in support of data calls in the required format and content for each report type within the designated time.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in field related to data management, data analytics or information technology.
  • Active or Interim Secret clearance.
  • Minimum of one (1) years of experience with government rules and procedures regarding international security cooperation programs.
  • Minimum of one (1) years of experience with designing, building and maintaining a data
  • collection and information management system.
  • Effective time management and organization skills to synchronize planningschedules for multiple projects.
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to report on-site on a hybrid schedule.
