As a member of the FARAPULSE Global Launch Team ("GLT"), the FARAPULSE Launch Specialist ("Launch Specialist") will effect the Team's charter to inject urgency and precision to the commercial introduction and expansion of FARAPULSE PFA around the world. Within the GLT, the Launch Specialist will maintain an individual and primary focus on clinical support and customer engagement. Following an immersive onboarding period supporting US and/or OUS launches, the Launch Specialist will focus on introducing and maintaining best practices in strategic accounts primarily in the US. The role will afford the Launch Specialist with opportunities to contribute VOC to FARAPULSE-related efforts in other functions such as R+D, Marketing and Education.

YourResponsibilities include:



  • Successful completion of rapid onboarding - hosted virtually and in-person in BSC US facilities - to prepare for FARAPULSE launch support in US and OUS centers
  • Global support of FARAPULSE procedures during strategically-important launch periods
  • Support cross-functional efforts around FARAPULSE products, current and future, including data collection (Clinical), training (Med Ed, Sales Training), and customer engagement and VOC input (Marketing, R+D)
  • Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by creating and delivering presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all customers abreast of the latest product, therapy, and technology developments and current items of interest in the industry.
  • Meets with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling (in an automobile or airplane) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate and train them on how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
  • Develops relationships with hospital personnel at all levels including staff, physicians, and administrators (e.g.through casual conversation, meetings, participation in creating conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
  • Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
  • Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of area/organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrates effective change leadership and builds strategic partnerships to better the area/organization by leveraging relationships with their peers, management and across AF Solutions organization (Marketing, Training, and Strategic Planning).
  • Assist management in recruiting and coaching organizational talent and demonstrates effective change leadership.Provides direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
  • Develops relationships with key referring physicians, external fellows, NEPIs, other key physicians in order to promote market development and growth.
  • On-call duties may be necessary to support coverage.


What we are looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications



  • Minimum 3 years clinical workexperience in EP laboratories supporting commercial ablation procedures, including at least one product introduction and operation of a 3D electro-anatomical mapping system
  • Spatial perception to translate 2D imagery to 3D device positioning, including familiarity with fluoroscopic, intracardiac ultrasound and/or electroanatomic mapping imagery
  • Must accommodate flexible hours commensurate with global scope for occasional virtual engagements/meetings, ie central European time zone
  • Must be able to travel in a given month:
  • Up to 75% domestic and/or
  • Up to 50% international, with a valid passport or equivalent credential
  • Physical capacity and existing credentials to enter US EP labs, including fluoroscopy exposure and good standing with one or more vendor credentialing services
  • Capacity to conduct hands-on preclinical laboratories including live-animal models


PreferredQualifications



  • Experience with initial introduction of multiple new products to physician customers
  • Interpretation of cardiac electrograms in left atrial catheterization procedures
  • Interpersonal flexibility and amicability to integrate quickly with full spectrum of laboratory-based characters, including physicians, administrators and nursing staff
  • Prior employment in a customer-facing, multi-disciplinary tiger team
  • Proximity to international hub airport
  • Experience in OUS medical device markets
  • Demonstrated leadership within local field clinical organization
  • Prior exposure to commercial FARAPULSE procedures and/or training
  • Conversational speaker of strategically valuable language(s): ie French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Japanese
