Job Description: * Position requires excellent listening, and a clear communications skillset coupled w/a patient, friendly, empathetic, and thorough demeanor * Receive and respond to patient billing inquires via phone, e-mail, voicemail, or other communication channels * Provide accurate and relevant information to patients regarding insurance billing, insurance benefits and coverages, co-payments, deductibles, coinsurances, and outstanding balances due from prior or upcoming appointments/dates of service * Take patient credit card payments, process them via credit card terminal and post accurately to the practice management system * Evaluate patient inquiries and provide accurate, proper, and timely solutions * Maintain patient records (application of notes, demographic updates, etc.) in the practice management system accurately * Escalate complex issues to Panorama RCM leadership, as necessary, starting w/RCM Managers Qualifications: * Previous experience in medical billing, collections, or a related field. * Previous healthcare experience * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
