*Location:* Anchorage area *Job Type: *Entry Level *Overview:* Join our dynamic team as a Residential Security Installation Technician! We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for customer service and a knack for hands-on installation work. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have experience with home technology installations, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: * Installation & Programming: Install and program burglar alarms, CCTV systems (IP & Analog), DVRs, and access control systems in residential settings. * Equipment Setup: Install window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors to enhance home security. * Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve signal issues to ensure optimal alarm functionality. * Customer Interaction: Engage with customers on-site, providing hands-on support and addressing any inquiries. * Signal Testing: Verify and test signals for all installed equipment to ensure proper operation. * Customer Training: Educate customers on equipment usage and address any additional needs they may have. * Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork for each job and maintain accurate inventory of ADT products. * Performance Goals: Strive to achieve a 90% goal attainment for completed installations with zero "go-backs." Qualifications: * Experience: General labor experience in home installations (alarms, internet, TVs, smart home systems, etc.) is preferred. * Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and demonstrate punctuality. * Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor are essential. Skills Required: * Installation and troubleshooting of security systems * Familiarity with cabling and low-voltage systems * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to think quickly and adapt to customer needs Tools & Equipment: * Personal vehicle required for travel * Basic tools (screwdrivers, electric drill, wire cutters, hand saw) Travel Radius: * Primarily within a 1-2 zip code radius of midtown Anchorage. Mileage reimbursement is available for travel exceeding 40 miles. Training: * Comprehensive training provided, typically lasting 4-5 weeks, depending on individual progress. Work Schedule: * Monday through Friday during typical daytime business hours.
