Overview The Lab Courier provides transport and support for Nationwide Children's Hospital, the Department of Laboratory Medicine and their clients. Couriers are responsible for driving NCH provided vehicles for courier routes, with exception to those positions defined in NCH courier procedures. Completes all duties with a "first time right" mindset. Schedule: M-F, from approximately 3:30p to 11:30p, with rotating weekends and holidays, full time, benefits eligible Why Nationwide Children's Hospital? Responsibilities
Maintains schedule to complete routine and on-demand routes daily.
Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Licensure: Valid Ohio driver's license as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and basic computer knowledge. Ability to use hospital provided cell phone and communication tracking system. MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OCCASIONALLY: 1-33% OF THE TIME (0.5 TO 2.5 HOURS)
FREQUENTLY: 34-66% OF THE TIME (2.6 TO 5.0 HOURS)
CONTINUOUSLY: 67-100% OF THE TIME (5.1 TO 12 HOURS OR GREATER)
