Summary Statement In this role, you will be working on products that improve quality of life for patients, workers and consumers worldwide. Our products include sterilization and cleaning monitoring, mail in spore testing, and continuous monitoring products to name a few. Our services include validation and calibration services, sterilization cycle development and validation, and contract laboratory testing. Your work can have a direct impact on your life and the lives of those you love. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Site Leadership interface and interactions
- Interview and hiring new employees
- Provide coaching and performance development
- Collaborate with Leads, Machine Operators, and Engineering to maintain and improve equipment functionality.
- Supports implementation and sustainment of TPM (total productive maintenance)
- Ensures compliance with all pertinent operating procedures, organizational directives, and work instructions.
- Plans and assigns work to build and deliver products on time
- Develop training plans to support changes in product mix
- Minimize downtime in assembly activities by communicating production interruptions with support functions
- Coordinate with facilities and equipment support teams to ensure timely maintenance
- Interface with other Manufacturing Managers within and across value streams
- Provide oversight on a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow
- Driving continuous improvement activities throughout manufacturing work cells
- Prioritize project issues and assist in the resolutions process to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals and contractual delivery requirement.
- Define team goals and direct employee development through coaching and 1:1's
- Handle employee related day to day issues and concerns
- Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously improving, clean, well-organized, and self-maintaining work environment.
- Working closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S knowledge and implementation.
- Following a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for achieving high performance SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Morale) targets through a visual work environment.
- Complying with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing of diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in manufacturing environment.
- 1+ years of direct management of a team, preferred.
- Ability to make decisions, effectively lead tasks, and meet challenging deadlines.
- Ability to build strong relationships and effectively partner with others.
- Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment.
- Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
