*TekSystems is currently hiring for a Medical Biller in the Washington DC area! This position has the opportunity to work hybrid after fully trained! *
*MUST HAVE: 1-2 years or more of medical billing, AR follow up, refunds or something related, preferably experience with Medicaid and Medicare. * *Description:* This individual will be supporting their billing and claims department with various areas of expertise including: - Billing 75-100 claims within "Pending with error" claim status daily - Checking eligibility on any DC Medicaid/Medicare claims - Reviewing and processing 50 insurance refunds weekly to the Billing Manager for approval - Resolve 50 claims weekly with a credit balance with no refund - Continuously working claim status to get them out of pending status daily - Run reports needed by Director - Contact Insurance companies daily to determine when credits will be processed and providing follow up - Documenting claim follow up in system *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* 1+ year experience in Billing, refunds and medicare and medicaid WFH capabilities About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
