*Description:*
This individual will be sitting at the switchboard for the Hospital, transferring and answering all calls. This would look a little bit like the below areas of expertise: - All incoming calls, answer the call itself and direct it to the correct department, employee, etc. - Relay information to patients around hours, information desk info, and communicate this to all logistical employees throughout hospital - Answer patient questions and request for information. If they don't know the answer put the patient on hold and get answers before answering. - Taking emergency calls - Take down patient information for admissions, discharges and transfers. Track admissions and discharges per patients. - Any long-distance calls are made by this department. *Skills:* Customer service/support Data entry Sense of Urgency *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* Experience with taking and making calls, call center environment or heavy phone environment.
