Position Summary:

Clinical Interns will become familiar with the PACT service model and integrate themselves into the team of caregivers. Clinical interns will become educated in regard to completing outpatient diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapeutic treatment services to adults diagnosed with pervasive mental health disorders.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provides direct clinical treatment to adults as represented in the caseload through:

- diagnostic evaluations and screenings

- crisis/emergency assessment and intervention

- treatment planning and assessment

2. Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.

3. Consults with area doctors, individuals, and other social service agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management.

4. Maintains client records and administrative records according to CHL program policy.

5. Attends administrative staff meetings as required.

6. Attends in-service education, clinical supervision and professional meetings as required.

  • Performs other related duties.

Specialty Responsibilities:

Willingness to meet with individuals in the community. Ability to transport clients.

Complies with established division and program policies, procedures, and objectives. Attends variety of meetings, conferences, and trainings as required or directed. Demonstrates use of quality improvement in daily operations. Complies with all health and safety regulations and requirements. Respects diverse views and approaches and contributes to maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility, and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors. Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance. Maintains confidentiality.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current Graduate Student pursuing a degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work.
  • Current Driver's License
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Bi-Lingual skills preferred
