Location This position can be based out of our Dredging Divisional Office in Covington, Louisiana or our offices in Houma, LA. Responsibilities * Creation of detailed drawings * Documentation and record keeping * Obtaining bids for fabrication of equipment * Compiling and awarding bid packages for fabrication of equipment * Ensuring drawings meet Marine standards and regulatory compliance * May require infrequent travel Qualifications * 3+ years of related experience preferred * Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline preferred, associate's degree required. * Strong proficiency with CAD software (AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS) * Proficient skills in standard office software packages * Possess a strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing techniques * Ability to work 40-hour work week, M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., additional hours as needed * Willingness and ability to travel as needed * This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language Required Certifications or Licenses * Driver's License Physical Requirements * Ability to remain in seated stationary position for long periods of time * Ability to navigate around office to use equipment as needed * Light lifting (up to 20 lbs.) as needed Other Requirements: Regular, reliable attendance Work productively and meet deadlines timely Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
