Job Summary:

The focus of the Onboarding Specialist is to assist potential clients in establishing a long-lasting and professional relationship with Lutheran Social Services' Pooled Trust and SDM Department.

The Onboarding Specialist provides report/document preparation and admissions for new inquiries and potential clients and maintains all client files for client and partner correspondence. Set-up and maintain all client data to ensure all compliance requirements are met throughout the new beneficiary enrollment process and aid in ensuring HIPAA compliance with protected information. Ongoing provision of client trust services to ensure program meets all quality standards, program guidelines, program guidelines and court requirements, including account audits and annual accounting. Import and export client data records and assist with monthly tracking and reporting. Provide structure and coordination of overall office functions for Pooled Trust Services and SDM, as well as general office and customer service support.

Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Repetitive finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder, or neck movement.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time using a computer keyboard and monitor.
  • Lifting or carrying up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to independently identify and apply applicable problem-solving competencies.
  • Readily adapts to changes and unexpected events.
  • Ability to effectively communicate a well-developed understanding of the business context.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals.
  • Ability to drive a car.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to take direction effectively.
