Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time FSB LMS Administrator, for the Fastenal School of Business, you will be responsible for supporting the training and development of Fastenal employees through the day-to-day maintenance and optimization of our online training platform. This position will involve implementing solutions to proactively enhance the user experience, troubleshooting common errors, constructing and maintaining training curriculum, collaborating with subject matter experts, and functional testing of internal and third-party training materials. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Supporting Fastenal employees in their use and operation of the LMS

o Testing and implementing new features within the LMS to enhance the user experience

o Communicating with our LMS provider to troubleshoot technical issues within the system

o Collaborating with internal departments and/or subject matter experts to determine training content

o Responding to requests for reporting and/or evaluating training data

o Assisting with instructional design and online course development as needed

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed

o Possess or are working towards a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, English, MIS or a related field of study OR have administrative or customer service work experience

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite with an aptitude to learn eLearning authoring software, such as: Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop and Articulate Storyline

o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Prior experience in technical support, change management, and/or UX/UI design

o Prior work experience in graphic design, technical writing, media, and/or instructional design
