As the Manager, Tour Marketing & Events you will oversee all aspects of logistics planning, budgeting and travel booking for all promotional tours, events and live appearances for RCA Records' artists. Administer broad rights participation deals with RCA artists where applicable.


What you'll do:

  • Coordinate with Marketing Team, Field and National Promotion Staff, Label Sales Team, and International Department to centralize the flow of information for all press and promotional tour scheduling for the entire RCA Records artist roster
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Touring & Events department.
  • Create and review all budgets for promotional tours, events and live appearances for the RCA Records roster.
  • Evaluate tour support requests from artist management. Oversee the administration of all tour support funds, including negotiating reductions and discounts.
  • Oversee the booking of artist travel for all promotional events, including flights, cars and hotels. Create master itineraries for both artist and label to use as a centralized reference document.
  • Responsible for all national ticket buys for RCA Records.
  • Cover all N.Y. and L.A. RCA concerts to ensure all issues related to venue/artist credentials, VIP tables; tickets/admittance and parking are dealt with in a timely, professional and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the accounting and payment of invoices for all costs associated with promotional tours and live events.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of RCA Records company meetings and events at the Sony Lot, RCA Studio and all offsites.
  • Serve as a liaison between artist management, touring staff and RCA Records to secure tour credentials and execute all backstage activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between RCA Records, Sony internal Travel department and outside vendors (equipment rental companies, transportation companies, etc.) to arrange the movement of artists and staging of promotional events and appearances in the most cost-effective manner.
  • 3 years prior experience is a similar role
