Driver Class: Class A, Hazmat

Equipment: 53', 48', 28' Trailers, Electric Pallet Jacks, Liftgates. Automatic and manual transmissions (converting to Automatics). Equipment is well maintained.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift

Geographic Territory: Local routes- All back same day

Pay: $28.74

Product Line: Paper products and facilities product, which consist of janitorial, bathroom supplies, etc.)

Customers: Commercial and industrial facilities

Job Description: Product is palletized and staged for the drivers to load their own trucks. Unload typically consists of palletized drops. Occasional manual unload may be needed. Driver is required to have knowledge of how to operate a lift gate and electric pallet jack. Veritiv will certify on the EPJ. Typically, the driver will have one route per day, but there are opportunities for a second route.

Training and Certifications: Driver will go through an orientation when they arrive. Training consists of a road test, ride along with a supervisor or lead driver to learn routes, products, etc.

Job Fit: Deliveries have constant contact with the customer; thus the driver will be able to develop local relationships with their clients. Drivers are considered the face of the company. They are looking of drivers who will be able to support a positive customer focused team environment.
