Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Infectious Disease (MD) ranging from $225,519 - 327,533. The posted UC salary scales set the base pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Applicants must have an MD or DO degree with or without a PhD and a strong record of scholarly output in basic, epidemiological or translational research. In addition, applicants must demonstrate recent success in acquiring research funding. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse academic and clinical environment are additional requirements.
