Aircraft Technology, Inc., (ATI), a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, is a FAA/EASA Part 145 Repair Station. Centrally located in Hollywood, FL, ATI overhauls, and repairs aircraft & helicopter, engine hot section components, interior components, and airframe, as well as accessories using a full range of state-of-art equipment to perform Machining, Braze Prep, Plasma Spray, Welding and Non-Destructive Testing processes ROLE: Stockroom and Tool Room Clerk is responsible for the maintenance of the stockroom and oversees the entire tool room and its functions. Receives, stores, and issues material and tools, to production team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Pick and Receive incoming shipments from central Shipping/Receiving Area, verify their contents, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Organize merchandise in the stockroom, ensuring proper labeling and categorization.
- Maintain documents related to parts
- Shelf life familiarization
- Maintain a clean and orderly stockroom to facilitate easy access.
- Restock shelves and display areas with merchandise as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are readily available for customers.
- Regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Report any discrepancies and assist in reconciling inventory records.
- Pull parts from inventory for work orders
- Package and label merchandise for outgoing shipments accurately, following company guidelines for packing and shipping.
- Pick up and drop parts to local vendors when needed using
- Work closely with sales associates, managers, and other stockroom personnel to ensure smooth operations and timely merchandise retrieval.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming material, tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
- Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
- Inventory of material, tools and equipment.
- Organize and maintain stockroom and tooling area
- Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
- Coordinate Outside Service.
- Clean responsible work areas.
- Operate forklift.
- Clerical scanning, inventory, and misc. functions.
- Assist in creating FedEx, YRC, and other shipping documents.
- Asist Shipping Department on when is needed.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
- Able to work overtime, and some weekend specially for end of the month.
- Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word) to create material and tool reports.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 year of relevant experience and/or training
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Forklift operator certification preferred but not required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:
- Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Computer Skills: Proficient working knowledge of computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to use basic shop math. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Reasoning Abilities: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Problem Solving Abilities: Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills; strict attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of FAA regulations. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.

- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May work with toxic or caustic chemicals
