Georgia-Pacific (GP) is seeking a functional lead that wants to join our team that is implementing and supporting the next generation of knowledge systems centered on SAP S/4 for our Building Products businesses. As a functional lead for our Master Data Governance solutions, you will work cross-functionally with the order management, operations, supply chain teams, as well as our Data Maintenance and Data Governance organizations to develop effective end to end processes within the ERP, customer experience systems, and reporting/analytics platforms that will enable the business transformation. The ideal candidate will have in depth SAP Master Data experience, SD functional experience, knowledge of end-to-end data management processes, data governance solutions, and excellent communication skills, and experience leading work on large projects and support. In this position you will work in a cross functional team where you will use initiative, influence, and SAP skills to enable master data solutions that create value for internal stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead the work of our Master Data Sustain organization, with the opportunity to manage resources in the future. You will report to the IT Director leading the Master Data Solutions Teams across multiple GP segments. LOCATION: ATLANTA, GA (HYBRID ) What You Will Do * Gathering and analyzing business requirements; Translating requirements into functional and technical solutions * Designing, configuring and testing solutions in SAP S4 * Creating and maintaining functional specifications, configuration documents, test plans and other documentation * Troubleshooting customer reported issues and assisting users with day-to-day production support in a timely manner * Partnering closely with business SMEs and technology stakeholders to analyze complex business problems; driving solutions that add value and meet business requirements and strategies * Driving enhancements, contributing, and influencing decisions across all project phases including requirements, design, development, testing, training, implementation, and support * Performing root cause and impact analysis, documentation and training * Effectively communicating with key Business Stakeholders to deliver and support solutions * Work closely with SAP module owners to identify Master Data impacts on downstream functions * Define or Influence Data Governance Solution Roadmap * Serve as primary contact on Data team for cross functional master data design * Provide expert guidance and leadership in SAP domain to internal teams and external partners * Manage SAP technology and functions, connected applications, and interfaces or middleware integration supporting master data. * Assist in conducting research of alternatives and cost/benefit analysis * Demonstrate a high level of ownership, leadership, initiative, and strong sense of urgency in all assignments as part of a fast-paced environment * Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Do you have experience in SAP SD, MM or master data functional experience, with hands-on experience performing IMG Configuration of Business Partner, Customer and/or Material Master * SAP implementation or similar support experience including development lifecycle from understanding of requirements to proper design techniques, configuration, writing specifications, testing, and documentation as needed * Do you have experience communicating with key business stakeholders What Will Put You Ahead * Bachelor's degree in business information systems or with equivalent professional experience * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking and innovation * Experience with MDG for Business Partner and/or Material Mastes * Knowledge of master data best practices and industry standards * SAP implementation experience (preference SAP S/4) * Deep knowledge in Data Governance/Master Data Management Solutions, including Address Validation Tools and Data Quality tools (i.e. Information steward) * Experience with Address Validation Tools * Experience with Information Steward or other Data Quality tools * Experience in the Building Products industry * Strong cross functional SAP knowledge * Experience managing a small team At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
