Overview

VTG is seeking an intermediate Financial Analyst to provide Financial and Contract support to the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program in SSP Strategic Systems Program. The candidate will be supporting a Program Manager providing Financial and Contract management support, SBIR/STTR Government Support Team, and other Team Members in support of various SBIR/STTR projects (NAVSEA). Position will be a hybrid in our Washington, DC office.


What will you do?

Candidate will support handling Purchase Requests for new contracts, incremental funding, and administrative changes; tracking obligations and commitments through spreadsheets; reviewing PEO spend plans; identifying cost and schedule issues; other financial and contracting efforts; and executive operations support to the Program Manager.


Do you have what it takes?

Required:

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office products (Specifically Excel), and Sharepoint Operations and Processes
  • 3-5 years of DoD financial/contract management experience preferably Navy
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and sustain one
  • Ability to obtain a Common Access Card and Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) account

Preferred:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning for financials
  • Must be able to work independently as a team member
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • 4 years Contractor or Active Navy experience

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $70,000-$80,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
