Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Change Enablement Analyst to join our Release Management team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient tracking and management of configuration items for the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Datacenter Consolidation and Cloud Optimization (DCCO) program. The successful candidate will work closely with the Change Management (CM) Manager to support the DHS Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology (HART) biometric system. The Change Enablement Analyst will maintain accurate records, enforce CM processes, and contribute to the integrity and traceability of the system's infrastructure.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

    Develop, implement, and maintain change management procedures that support the HART infrastructure. Document and enforce network technology and configuration standards.
  • Assist with release planning, scheduling, and deployment for hardware and software updates to ensure alignment with system objectives and minimal operational impact.
  • Analyze and document change and configuration items to ensure complete and accurate records across all system components.
  • Ensure adherence to established change management policies and procedures, enhancing traceability and enabling informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain documentation that details change management processes and supports team members and stakeholders.
  • Analyze the impact of changes and provide data-driven insights to the CM Manager and Release Management team.
  • Work collaboratively with the various Peraton teams and government stakeholders to align change management practices with evolving system requirements.
  • Provide regular reports on change status, discrepancies, and areas for improvement to support system optimization.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma and 6 years of relevant Information Technology Experience
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government agency level clearance (the DHS EOD, which you must have prior to starting).
  • Must have a ITIL 3 or 4 foundation certification.
  • Exemplary communication, analytical skills, and technical knowledge across the client environment.
  • Experience leading and collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of cloud and change requests in Government environments.
  • Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation.
  • Information technology experience in computer analysis, cloud analysis, integration, infrastructure, engineering, programming, or change management.
  • Experience with Jira and ServiceNow ticketing systems.
  • Experience with change enablement practice in a large enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience or a Masters degree and 0 years of experience or a High School diploma and 6 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in configuration management within cloud environments, particularly AWS.
  • Knowledge of AWS services.
  • Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows, and other open-source technologies.
  • ITIL 4 practitioner: change enablement

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
