Job Summary:
Wisconsin Singers is recruiting for the position of Executive Producer. Wisconsin Singers is UW-Madison's Broadway Caliber singing, dancing, and instrumental group that draws students from a variety of majors with a passion for musical performance. Traveling throughout the state and region, they present a 90-minute performance of American pop music along with educational workshops in the communities where they perform. The Executive Producer is responsible for the artistic and managerial oversight of this group. This person will shape the artistic direction and business ventures of the Wisconsin Singers along with providing professional performances, workshops, and educational experiences. We're looking for someone with a passion for musical performance and education, enthusiasm for the arts, leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders. Responsibilities: Oversees the daily management of programs, services, activities, facilities, policies and/or processes in order to support student success in various areas of student affairs. Works under broad, administrative direction with significant responsibility for assigned area(s) of responsibility. Responds to inquiries from University departments, educational institutions, the community, and/or external agencies. Strives to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

The Wisconsin Union is a financially self-supporting division of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Financial support for the organization is provided by income earned by over thirty food service units and a variety of nonfood units such as games, guest rooms, space rentals and campus vending. Substantial support is also provided by student fees. The total annual organizational budget is approximately $60 million dollars.
