OverviewMicrosoft's Global Demand Center (GDC) team is leading the transformation of marketing at Microsoft with programs and engines that allow us to engage in a more personal way with our customers while driving hard, measured business outcomes. In the GDC, we lead digital-first sales motions, customer engagement marketing at scale, campaigns to celebrate launches, events to strengthen customer connection and product understanding, plus relationship marketing designed to onboard, and deepen brand love. All the while we are building a rich understanding of the propensity of accounts to purchase, supporting sellers with signals for better account planning and opportunity generation. Using advanced analytics, marketing automation, and digital marketing, we are on a mission to drive market share, consumption, and consistent double-digit+ revenue growth. The GDC is looking for an ambitious, creative, results-driven Sr, Program Manager who is passionate about driving innovation in marketing, marketing effectiveness, transforming processes to drive operational excellence and impact, and fostering an inclusive team culture. This role will be a key leader in a new Marketing Transformation and Enablement team focused on the business strategy for key marketing capabilities within the GDC - both core marketing fundamentals such as email marketing strategy as well as connected sales and marketing components. This role will ensure structure and optics are developed into the mechanisms and techniques for customer outreach and email communications, and that a governance structure is established that puts our customer at the center. This role requires a blend of experience including strategy, marketing, analytical thinking, cross functional collaboration, executive influence, navigating ambiguity, and a strong drive for results. To be successful in this role, we're looking for someone extremely experienced in written and oral communications, depth of knowledge in email marketing best practices, strategic capability, and a can-do attitude and the willingness to tackle hard problems in innovative ways across teams and stakeholders. ResponsibilitiesEstablish and own framework and methodology to organize and communicate Email Comms Strategy for the GDC, partner with marketing leaders and teams driving local marketing guidance to align governance and needsDevelop audience and customer centric approach to communication guidelines and support technology needs including requirements for Artifical Intelligence (AI) and automation solutionsBuild a framework and approach for customer communications throughout the customer journey that identifies how we leverage email across multiple communications platformsDrive for planful processes and structured, transparent operations including requirements to transform infrastructure, monitoring, measurement and flighting of communications and Identify where we need to adjust or optimize processes and systems to reduce administrative burden on marketersDeep understanding of email deliverability metrics and their impact and correlation through multiple lenses (platform health, campaign performance, platform health, customer lifecycle)Partner with Contactactability team, Connected Sales and Marketing capabilities team, Campaign Operations team, Platform Operations team and Field Marketers to organize and communicate best in class email marketing strategyEmbody our culture and values
