Test Engineer

We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Test Engineer

Job Purpose:

Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Works with customer to develop cost-effective test solutions, troubleshooting systems and miscellaneousequipment
• Manages quoting and purchasing test systems
• Manages project schedule pertaining to test development working with the customer focus team and the customer counterpart(s)
• Implements test systems and validates those systems to regulatory requirements such as FDA and Automotive regulations
• Develops test processes for production based on customer specifications
• Responsible for maintaining test equipment including overseeing calibration and preventative maintenance
• Develops and implements training for test operators and maintenance personnel
• Works to make process improvements and reduce costs

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Test Engineer
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; preferably in Electrical Engineering
